About City Electric Motor Co.

City Electric Motor was founded in 1948 by Tom Bailey and Harlan Haydon. In 1971, upon the illness of Mr. Haydon, David Bailey, Tom Baileys's son, joined the family business. In 1988, with the passing of his father, David Bailey became the President of the company. He would do so 40 for years before passing the to his daughter, Lory.

Lory Bailey Beasley is the current President of City Electric Motor Company.

Today City Electric Motor Company is the home to nineteen employees, proudly serving the Central Kentucky region
