..was founded in 1948 by Tom Bailey
and Harlan Haydon. In 1971, upon the illness
of Mr. Haydon, David Bailey joined the company.
In 1988, with the passing of Tom Bailey, David
Bailey assumed responsibilty as President of
the company.

Today City Electric Motor Company employees
fifteen people proudly serving the central
Kentucky region.

The company sells and services AC/DC electric motors,
power tools, air compressors, generators, welders,
pumps and controls. We specialize in services for
agricultural, mining, commercial, industrial, and
government agencies.

Our repair facilities offer a full machine shop,
dynamic balancing, laser alignment, and complete
rewind capabilties to support our customers needs.
Our services include the flexability to offer
field technicians who can evaluate, inspect, laser
align, and service on site when the situation requires
it, or by quality trained staff at our shop.
